Dr
Tapan Rai has worked as an academic mathematician in
Australia,
Canada, USA and India. In a career spanning two decades, he
has
provided mathematical and statistical support to projects
in the areas of biomedical and health sciences, computer and security
science, engineering, psychology and the social sciences. In addition
to providing routine statistical advice, he combines his experience in
these areas with his strong background in theoretical mathematics to
develop customized solutions to statistical and data analysis
problems. He also holds a position as Research Advisor -
Statistician at
the
Faculty
of Computing, Health and Science at
Edith Cowan University
in Perth. Dr Rai is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and he
also holds professional memberships in a number of other organizations
including the
American
Mathematical Society, I
nternational Association for Cryptologic
Research and the
Institute of Electrical and Electronics
