Home Our Services Our Consultants Preparing for a  Consultation  Privacy and Intellectual PropertyContact Us
One of our core values is to understand your needs and advise you on the appropriate analysis to meet your information goals.  To achieve this, we offer a free 30-minute initial consultation. This free initial consultation is your opportunity to explain the problem with which you need assistance. During this half hour, the consulting statistician may ask questions to help clarify  your problem, but will not provide any specific advice. In order to get the best value from this free initial consultation, we recommend that you prepare for a consultation by:
  1. Clarifying your research questions and hypotheses.
  2. Determining what variables you intend to measure.
  3. Thinking about the methods and scales you would use to measure these variables.
  4. Searching the literature for similar or related studies.
  5. Being prepared to effectively communicate your research questions, variables, scales etc.
We believe that effective communication is the key to providing the best possible service, and we strongly encourage you to prepare for a consultation by writing a short summary that includes each of these  points. We find that even the process of writing can help clarify points and questions that might enable you to gain the most from our service.
